The Naturopathic Medical Clinic is the only medical practice in Grants Pass, OR that focuses on natural health care. We strive to identify and treat the cause of disease, not just the symptoms. The Naturopathic Medical Clinic works toward teaching each individual about their health condition(s) and what they can do to support all aspects of their health:  body, mind, and spirit. We treat each patient like family. Our compassionate, professional staff is dedicated to providing the highest level of care possible.

ABOUT THE DOCTORS:

Ellen Heinitz, ND

Dr. Heinitz graduated with honors from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, Oregon, and received a BS in Nutrition from Oregon State University. She utilizes a variety of traditional and conventional healing modalities including nutrition, herbs, homeopathy, IV therapies, chelation, and pharmaceuticals to treat acute and chronic diseases. She seeks to educate and empower her patients in order to bring about a transformation to health.

Michael Owen, ND




Dr. Michael Owen is a native of Grants Pass, Oregon and alumni of the National College of Natural Medicine.  Dr. Owen has an interest in integrative medicine and family practice and currently works in an walk-in/acute care clinic in Portland, Oregon, as well as, a chronic care private practice, and comes to Grants Pass once a month to see patients locally.  In Grants Pass, most of Dr. Owen’s practice consists of minor surgery and treatment of dermatological complaints, injection therapy (Prolotherapy), and family care.




Kristen Plunkett, ND


Dr. Plunkett, who was born and raised in Grants Pass, Oregon, graduated from North Valley High School in 1996.  She attained a bachelors degree in Health Promotion Fitness Management
in 2003 from Southern Oregon University.  She then spent 4 years attending the National College of Natural Medicine (NCNM) in Portland, Oregon.  While attending NCNM she participated in a 9-month long internship at the Center for Natural Medicine in Portland, where whe learned to diagnose and treat cardiovascular and pulmonary conditions.  Dr. Plunkett enjoys treating conditions such as chronic fatigue, thyroid disorders, pain syndromes, and muscle and joint conditions.
